Pastry Chef, Gourmet Lanka
Ravin Priyantha joined the company in 2017 as Pastry Chef of Gourmet Lanka. Chef Ravin brings 30 years of experience in the F&B industry including fine dining, hotel buffets, plated desserts, pastry and cakes, bakery, bread showpieces and food to go, in multiple outlets including hotels, shopping malls, airports, cake shops, cruise liners, exhibition centres and even UAE palaces!

Chef Ravin Hails from Colombo, and went to school in Watalla. He started his career as a Trainee Cook with a one year Sri Lankan and International Cookery Certificate from the Colombo Ultra Hotel School Wellawatta, Sri Lanka, in 1986. Chef continued his training and career in top Colombo hotels, including The Galadari, The Galle Face, Pegasus Reef, Airport Garden and the Oberoi. He then moved overseas, where he worked in Qatar for Qatar Airways Catering and the Qatar Mall, In Saudi Arabia for the US Military airbase, in Abu-Dhabi at Sheik Mansour’s Palace and the Abu Dhabi National Hotel, in Dubai at Grandma’s Cheesecake Shop, and most recently in Australia for P&O Princess Cruise Lines.
